Videogames are engaging, in large part, due to amazing storytelling. (Gotta have a good story, right?)
Their creative use has also helped us connect better with our autistic daughter. I don’t profess that FNAF and alien shooters are the key, but they benefited us.
BTW: If you can recommend a good zombie game that doesn’t have bad language or offers an edit option on profanity, I’d appreciate it. We’d be playing Left 4 Dead if it wasn’t for the cursing.
